We all know birds are the most mischievous animals.
The Fantail darting through the trees, distracting you from the task at hand just to make sure you know that it’s the prettiest bird in the whole back yard.
The Kea, the native kleptomaniac of New Zealand, stealing passports, wallets and rubber vehicle trim from unsuspecting tourists throughout our ski fields and alpine parks.
The Tui, luring you into a game of hide and seek with his distinctive sound. When you finally catch him in your lens he plays you one last time, leaving just the blur of a wing on your camera screen.
The Kotare, ever so elusive, you know they're there, but rarely can you spot them. Masterful at disappearing just when you think you've spotted it.
The Kereru, NZs only native pigeon, with the propensity to get mildly intoxicated on the fruit they eat, they are the epitome of Mischief.
These birds are unique and distinctive, showing great personality and great potential for mischief; just like our wines!
